It’s natural to forget how well your denture felt when it was first fitted. Changes occur in your mouth ever so slowly that before you realise, your denture is moving every time you speak or eat. Or it might feel tight or crooked as your natural teeth shift slightly and alter the fit.
When we reline your denture, we place a new, custom moulded lining inside your denture. It’s the part that touches your gum and when it’s perfectly fitted – you won’t even notice you’re wearing it.

We recommend visiting us every six months for a clean, check and reline of your denture.

Denture Repairs

Accidents happen without warning. Dentures slip out of your fingers, fall and break. Wear and tear alter the fit and shape. All reasons you may need custom repairs to your denture. We undertake every repair with speed in mind as we believe in minimising the time you spend without your denture.

So if you need a cracked denture or broken tooth fixed, or an additional tooth or clasp fitted, we’ll take care of it quickly and carefully.

Remember, it’s dangerous to attempt a denture repair yourself. Many adhesives like super glue are highly toxic and cause damage to your denture.

Denture Cleaning

Denture teeth are like natural teeth and accumulate tartar, plaque and bacteria. One of the most common signs of plaque build-up is gum irritation. Plaque hardens over time to form calculus, which harbours bacteria and irritates your gums.

A professional check and clean every six to twelve months is highly recommended. We’ll give your denture an ultrasonic clean to remove excess tartar and then polish it until it sparkles like new again. Tough stains can be removed too.

To finish, we’ll use specialised buffing tools and waxes to restore the glossy finish to your denture so you can smile happily from ear to ear again.
