Quality without compromise

You’re looking for a denture that feels comfortable, looks natural and allows you to live life confidently. At Hall Family Denture Clinic, we offer quality denture solutions that provide value for money without compromising on the features that matter most. We take as much time as you need to talk through every option so you can make the best choice possible.

Complete or Full Dentures

Complete or Full Dentures

A complete or full denture replaces all of your natural teeth in either your upper or lower jaw or both. It’s held in place by suction or with metal clasps if some of your natural teeth remain. A complete denture must be fitted to your mouth exactly and is usually made well after tooth extraction, once your gums and bone have had time to heal.

The teeth on your complete denture are made from high strength acrylic and bonded to an acrylic base plate. You’ll be able to choose from a wide variety of tooth size, shape and colour. We use advanced manufacturing techniques to match the teeth on your denture to your facial features, right down to your natural contouring and shade of gum tissue. The result is a natural looking denture that is incredibly lifelike and lets you eat, speak and smile with confidence.

Partial Dentures

Partial Dentures

A partial denture is an option for patients looking to replace just a few of their natural teeth. It’s a removable denture that is supported by the remaining teeth and gums. Not only will it fill the gaps left by missing teeth, but it will also help to prevent your existing teeth from shifting to a different position.

We offer two styles – acrylic or chrome. We’ll help you to determine the right choice for you, depending on the positioning and stability of your existing natural teeth.

An acrylic partial denture features strong acrylic teeth, bonded to an acrylic base plate. Metal clasps hold it in place, securely retaining it to your existing teeth.

A chrome denture has a cast metal framework that sits on or around your natural teeth. Denture teeth are attached by acrylic. With a chrome partial denture, the frame is integrated, making it thinner and more comfortable to wear. It allows greater functionality, and you’ll find it less prone to breakage.

Immediate Dentures

Immediate Dentures

An immediate denture is a complete or partial denture made in advance of tooth removal. It’s worn directly after your teeth have been extracted, so you can avoid the inconvenience or embarrassment of being without your teeth. An immediate denture is often a temporary solution while you wait for your gums to heal and a more permanent denture to be fitted.

The denture itself is no different to a regular denture – it’s just the planning process that varies. We’ll take a series of impressions of both your upper and lower jaw along with bite registrations to measure the size and shape of your teeth. Your denture will be made using an accurate assumption of what your bone will look like after the removal of your teeth.

When you first wear your immediate denture, you may feel some sore spots caused by the denture rubbing on your gums. This will settle quickly, allowing you to eat and speak as normal. With the denture placed directly over the site of your extractions, you’ll find it helps to control bleeding and can even promote the healing process.

An immediate denture allows you the freedom to live life as normal while you wait for your mouth and bones to settle. You’ll need regular adjustments and relines to ensure your denture fits correctly and is comfortable. With some simple care and maintenance, you may use your immediate denture for many years.

Implant Dentures

Implant Dentures

If you’re missing just a few teeth and are looking for a more natural permanent solution, then you may choose to consider a surgical implant denture.

Inserting a dental implant into your jaw will provide a solid foundation for removable teeth. You will be able to click your denture securely into place. It won’t slip or move around as a traditional denture might.

With an implant denture you’ll have a strong and secure fitting tooth that looks and feels completely natural. It offers a far greater level of comfort and will allow you to eat and speak freely without any need to feel self-conscious.

The implant process can take several months and will require a team of experienced surgeons and technicians to ensure your implant fits and functions comfortably.
